4 Vehicle Crash on I-84 Near Nampa Sends 2 to the Hospital

NAMPA - Four vehicles were involved in a chain reaction motor vehicle crash on I-84 this Monday morning sending two women to the hospital. Idaho State Police reported today that 26 yr old Andrea Shepherd of Twin Falls Idaho was traveling eastbound on I-84 near milepost marker 33 in Nampa, Idaho. Shepherd reportedly failed to slow down for traffic traveling in front of her, and she crashed her 1999 Subaru Legacy into the back of a Jeep operated by 35 yr old Thad Harris of Caldwell causing his vehicle to swerve into the median. Shepherd continued on and crashed into the rear end of a Chrysler sedan operated by 30 yr old Rebecca McNutt of Caldwell which catapulted McNutt’s sedan into the rear end of a Honda Accord driven by 62 yr old Randall Jensen of Ontario, Oregon. Both Shepherd and McNutt were taken by ambulance for treatment at the St. Alphonsus - Nampa Medical Center. Citations are pending upon the completion of the investigation and collision reconstruction conducted by the Idaho State Police.
