EAGLE - A teenager crashed a Subaru Outback into the rear end of a motorcycle yesterday near the intersection of Eagle Road and Old State Street in Eagle causing the motorcyclist to incur personal injuries that were reported as non-life threatening. However, the motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for observation and treatment. The driver of the Subaru was cited but the name of the driver was not released, because the driver was a minor.
In Idaho, the violation of a safety statute constitutes negligence per se.
