Motorcylist Dies Due to Crash

BOISE -- UPDATE: Last Wednesday, a motorcyclist collided into a SUV that had turned in front of the motorcyclist at the intersection of Overland Road and South Biggs Street. The driver of the SUV apparently made a left hand turn in front of the motorcyclist when the motorcyclist crashed into the rear side door of the SUV. The motorcyclist was 32 yr old Stephen P. Moore of Boise who died as a result of his injuries. The police reported that the cyclist failed to wear a helmet at the time of the crash, but in Idaho an adult is not required to wear a helmet while operating a motorcycle.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to call 208.570.6290. An active investigation/reconstruction of the collision is currently underway.
In Idaho, a vehicle making a left turn must yield the right-of-way to opposing traffic.
We at Morton Law Offices, Chartered extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Stephen P. Moore for their loss.
