CALDWELL – A 53 yr old Nampa man was killed in an industrial accident at a Caldwell manufacturing plant when a 25 ton steel beam fell from a forklift trapping the man underneath the beam. Roy Frasier was killed shortly after the beam dropped upon him. Other employees rushed to Mr. Fraiser’s aid when the beam fell upon Frasier, but Frashier died from the injuries inflicted by the steal beam. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is conducting the investigation.
In Idaho, workers’ compensation is the exclusive remedy against an employer for injuries or wrongful death arising from an industrial accident.
We at Morton Law Offices, Chartered extend our heartfelt condolences to the Frasier family for their loss.
